Actually, I had another surprise when Uggo's co-worker dashed in quickly and handed me a little package. She gave me a pair of scissors and a tape dispenser both in pink and just my size! See, when I met her on Sunday we got to talking and I expressed interest in sewing and other crafts. She told me I could make some of my own crafts with those and that if I came back again sometime she could give me sewing lessons. She is such a kind girl! I really hope she shows her face to the Historical Sisters now. She didn't stay long though. After whispering that message to me and giving me that gift, she dashed off again. Poor girl.
Anyhow, it was great to have everyone send me off and wish me the best. Now I am just so excited to meet my next host family. Why do these box trips have to take so long? That trip to Wisconsin doesn't seem long at all in comparison to this. Oh well, hopefully I'll arrive on Thursday sometime. I'll write again when I have time. In the meantime, you can see me saying good-bye to the Historical Sisters in this album: http://picasaweb.google.com/michelelieske/GoodByeTravelingKit#5348439088878216994
